Song Wat Coffee Crawl: 9 Stops, 1.5 km
The densest coffee street in Bangkok: seven roasters, a 101-year-old bakery and a street-art wall, all on one riverside lane.
The shortest loop on this map and the only one where the honest advice is to park the bike once and walk it. Song Wat runs one way along the river behind Chinatown, and the roasters have colonised its shophouses one by one. Ride in from the Talat Noi end, find a wall to lean the bike against, and work west.
Open this loop on the Bangkok map. Distances are straight-line between stops, so a real ride through Bangkok traffic will read longer on the odometer.
-
LOCAL BOYS COFFEE CO. SONG WAT
The interior is almost industrial/cyberpunk, and they don't take the “coffee must be serious” philosophy too seriously.
-
SCR - Song Wat Coffee Roasters
Old Song Wat shophouse atmosphere + proper roasting operation. An excellent café to combine with Song Wat / Talat Noi walking missions.
-
The Old Breadshop
More bakery/café than hardcore coffee destination, but very fun and different. It has a cute, slightly kitsch atmosphere and unusual iced drinks.
-
Terroir.BKK SONGWAT
One of the better choices if you want to understand Bangkok's third-wave coffee scene rather than simply drink something pretty.
-
KOFF & BUN AT SONGWAT
Specialty coffee + traditional steamed buns + old Song Wat shophouse. The building retains its old-world character, while the café is aimed at a younger local crowd.
-
Ek Teng Phu Ki
A 101-year-old Chinese-Thai coffee shop. Four generations in, the family redesigned it while preserving the character: jade-green tiles, marble tables, old-school Chinatown atmosphere.

-
Sunset Coffee Roaster (Talat Noi)
Genuine specialty roaster in one of Bangkok's best walking neighborhoods.

-
Mother Roaster Talat Noi
This is one of the classic Bangkok hidden-coffee experiences: an old shophouse, narrow staircase, tiny slow bar and the legendary “Mother” behind the coffee.
